Air conditioning control

An interface that brings an air conditioning unit into your home automation, locally: temperature, mode, setpoints and status, without going through the manufacturer's cloud.
It connects to the communication port the manufacturer provides for its own accessories. The original controller stays in charge of defrost cycles, safety cut-outs and timers — we send it instructions, we never replace it.

What it does

• Reads the status: temperature, mode, setpoint, on/off
• Sends setpoints from Home Assistant
• Combines air conditioning with solar production and occupancy
• Tracks real consumption instead of estimating it

How it connects

• To the communication port provided by the manufacturer, inside the indoor unit
• The original controller stays in charge: safety, defrost, timers
• On a multi-split, each indoor unit has its own port: 3 units = 3 interfaces

Local control is also what lets the air conditioning run while the sun is producing, instead of showing up on the bill.
